    KUE TAMBANG
    Untuk kurang lebih 350 gr


    Bahan:
    • 240 gr tepung terigu
    • 60 gr gula halus
    • 40 gr mentega/margarin
    • 2 butir telur
    • 1/2 sdt garam
    • 1/4 sdt soda kur
    • 800 cc minyak untuk menggoreng

    Cara membuat:

    1. Campur tepung terigu bersama gula, dan mentega, aduk rata. Tambahkan telur, garam dan soda kue. Uleni hingga adonan tidak lengket di tangan. Tambahkan tepung terigu jika perlu.
    2. Giling tipis adonan setebal 4 mm, potong-potong ukuran 5 mm X 10 cm, pluntir, satukan kedua ujung, pluntir lagi bersama-sama.
    3. Panaskan minyak dengan api sedang, goreng adonan kue yang sudah dibentuk hingga berwarna kuning kecokelatan. Angkat, tiriskan.
    4. Setelah kue dingan, simpan dalam stoples.

    Catatan:

    Gilinglah adonan di talenan yang agak lebar. Terlebih dahulu bedaki talenan dan kayu giling dengan tepung terigu, agar adonan tidak lengket pada waktu digiling.

    BRAIDED CRUNCHIES

    Make approximately 350 gr crunchies

    Ingredients:

    • 240 gr flour
    • 60 gr granulated sugar
    • 40 gr butter/margarine
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/4 tso salt
    • 1/2 tsp baking soda
    • 800 cc oil for frying

    Method:

    1. Thoroughly mix flour with sugar, and butter or margarine; stir evenly. Add eggs, salt, and baking soda, and knead until the dough is not sticky to the touch. Add flour if nezessary.
    2. Roll the dought our on a floured board until 4 mm thick; cut into 5 mm X 10 cm shapes; twist, join the ends, twist again together.
    3. Heat the oil over medium flame until hot; fry the dough until golden brown. Remove and drain.
    4. After cooling, store in an airtight container.

    Note:

    Roll the dough out on a wide cutting board. First, dust the cutting board and rolling pin with flour so that the dough does not stick.
