    KERIPIK TEMPE
    Untuk lebih kurang 800 gr



    Bahan:
    • 500 gr tempe, iris tipis melebar
    • 300 gr tepung beras
    • 900 cc santan
    • 800 cc minyak untuk menggoreng

    Bumbu yang dihaluskan:

    • 6 siung bawang putih
    • 3 sdt ketumbar
    • 1 1/2 sdt garam

    Cara membuat:

    1. Jemur irisan tempe di bawah terik panas matahari sampai kering.
    2. Campur tepung beras, santan, dan bumbu yang dihaluskan. Adonan harus agak encer.
    3. Masukkan tempe dalam adonan tepung beras, goreng dalam minyak panas dan banyak hingga kering dan berwarna kuning kecokelatan. Angkat, tiriskan.

    Catatan:

    Untuk keripik tempe, pilihlah tempe yang berbentuk persegi panjang dan agak melebar, untuk mendapat irisan yang cukup lebar.

    Soybean Chips

    Makes approximately 800 gr chips

    Ingredients:

    • 500 gr tempe (fermented soybean cake), cut thinly sideways
    • 300 gr rice flour
    • 900 cc coconut milk
    • 800 cc cooking oil for frying

    Ground spices:

    • 6 cloves garlic
    • 3 tsp coriander seeds
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt

    Method:

    1. Dry the strips of tempe in the sun until dry.
    2. Mix rice flour, coconut milk, and ground spices. The mix must be a bit watery, not thick.
    3. Dip the strips of fermented soybean in the rice flour mixture, then fry in hot oil until crisp and golden. Remove and drain.

    Note:

    Pick a wide rectangular piece of tempe in order to get thin wide strips.
