    KACANG TOJIN
    Untuk lebih kurang 1000 gr
    Bahan:
    • 1 kg kacang tanah
    • 1 sdt garam
    • 1000 cc minyak goreng
    • 4 sdm bawang merah goreng
    • 4 sdm seledri cincang
    • (3 sdm ebi, sangrai
    • 1 sdt garam) haluskan

    Cara membuat:

    1. Seduh kacang dengan 1500 cc air mendidih, rendam sebentar selama lebih kurang 5 menit agar kulitnya melunak, tiriskan. Kupas kulit kacang, cuci bersih, tiriskan. Beri garam, aduk rata. Panaskan minyak, goreng kacang hingga matang, tiriskan.
    2. Panas-panas beri bawang goreng, daun seledri, dan ebi tumbuk. Aduk rata, dinginkan.
    3. Setelah kacang dingin, simpan dalam stoples.

    Catatan:

    Kacang Tojin penganan khas dari daerah Sibolga- Sumatera Utara

    ONION PEANUTS

    Makes approximately 1000 gr

    Ingredients:

    • 1 Kg peanuts
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1000 cc oil for frying
    • 4 tbs red onions, sliced and fried
    • 4 tbs small celery, minced
    • (3 tbs dried shrimp, braised
    • 1 tbs salt) ground

    Method

    1. Soak peanuts in 1500 cc of boiling water for about 5 minutes to soften skin. Remove the skin, wash and drain. Add salt, mix well. Heat the oil then fry the peanuts until done. Remove and drain.
    2. While still hot, add fried onions, minced celery and ground dried shrimp. Mix well and let cool.
    3. When cool, store in an air tight jar.

    Note:

    This is a traditional snack from Siboga, North Sumatra.
