    BERONDONG MANIS
    Untuk lebih kurang 200 gr


    Bahan:
    • 75 gr biji jagung
    • 1 sdm margarin/mentega
    • 1 sdm minyak goreng

    Untuk lapisan gula:

    • 200 gr gula merah, iris halus
    • 4 sddm air

    Cara membuat:

    1. Panaskan mentega dan minyak goreng dalam wajan.
    2. Masukkan jagung, aduk-aduk sampai tercampur rata dan ada butir jagung yang merekah. Kemudian segera tutup dan biarkan jagung merekah semuanya.
    3. Buka tutupnya, aduk-aduk lagi dan segera angkat.
    4. Masak gula jawa dan air di atas api kecil hingga kental sekali dan berambut jika di alirkan. Masukkan berondong jagung, aduk-aduk hingga tercampur rata. segera angkat, letakkan diniru atau tampah, ratakan sambil ditekan-tekan, buat ketebalannya menjadi lebih kurang 2 cm. Angin-anginkan hingga larutan gula mengering. Potong-potong ukuran 4 X 6 X 2 cm.

    Catatan:

    Untuk resep ini, gunakan jagung untuk pop corn.

    SWEET CORN BARS

    Makes approximately 200 gr

    Ingredients:

    • 75 gr corn kernels
    • 1 tbs margarine or butter
    • 1 tbs cooking oil

    For the sugar coating:

    • 200 gr brown sugar, finely sliced
    • 4 tbs water

    Method:

    1. Heat the butter or margarine and the cooking oil in a pan.
    2. Pour in the corn kernels and stir well until some of the corn kernels pop. Put a lid on the pan and keep closed, shaking until all of the kernels pop open.
    3. Uncover, stir once more, and remove from heat.
    4. Cook the brown sugar and water over a small flame until very thick. Add the corn kernels and stir until well mixed. Remove and place on a winnowing tray, flattening the mixture to a thickness of approximately 2 cm. Leave to dry. Cut into pieces of 4 X 6 X 2 cm.

    Note:

    For this recipe, use pop corn.
