    BANGGRENG
    Untuk lebih kurang 1000 gr


    Bahan:
    • 700 gr singkong
    • (100 cc air
    • 1 sdm garam) larutkan
    • 800 cc minyak untuk menggoreng

    Untuk larutan gula merah:

    • 300 gr gula merah, sisir
    • 100 gr gula pasir
    • 100 cc air

    Cara membuat:

    1. Cuci bersih singkong, potong-potong melingkar tebal lebih kurang 5 cm, kukus setengah matang. Perciki air garam secara merata, kukus sampai matang atau lebih kurang 30 menit. Angkat, dinginkan.
    2. Iris memanjang ukuran 1,5 cm X 5 cm, jemur di terik matahari sampai kering.
    3. Panaskan minyak, goreng singkong yang sudah kring sampai berwarna kuning kecoketalan. Angkat, tiriskan.
    4. Campur bahan untuk larutan gula, tempatkan dalam wadah, masak di atas api kecil, hingga gula mencair, terus masak hingga cairan gula kental sekali dan berambut jika di alirkan (diangkat dengan garpu). Masukkan potongan singkong ke dalam larutan gula kental, aduk-aduk sampai terlumuri gula seluruhnya. Angkat, tempatkan dalam tamplah atau wadah datar dan biarkan gula mengering. Simpan dalam wadah kedap udara.

    SWEET CASSAVA CRUNCH

    Makes approximately 1000 gr

    Ingredients:

    • 700 gr cassava
    • (100 cc water mixed with
    • 1 tbs salt)
    • 800 cc oil for frying

    For the brown sugar coating:

    • 300 g brown sugar
    • 100 g granulated sugar
    • 100 cc water

    Method:

    1. Clean the cassava and slice into circles about 5 cm thick. Boil until half done. Sprinkly with the salt water until well covered, then broil once more until done, or approximately 30 minutes. Remove and cool.
    2. Slice vertically to a xize of 1,5 cm X 5 cm. Dry in the sun.
    3. Heat oil and fry the cassava slices until golden brown. Remove and drain.
    4. Mix the ingredients for the vrown sugar coating, and cook over a low flame. Continue cooking until sugar is very thick. Add cassava slices to the sugar mixture and stir until fully covered. Remove and place on a winnowing tray until the sugar hardens. Store in an airtight container.
