    BALADO KERIPIK UBI KAYU
    Untuk lebih kurang 1000 gr


    Bahan:
    • 1 kg singkong yang bersih/bagus, kupas
    • 1000 cc minyak untuk menggoreng

    Untuk bumbu cabai merah:

    • 10 buah cabai merah
    • 1 sdt garam
    • 2 sdm gula pasir
    • 1 sdm air asam
    • 5 sdm minyak untuk menumis

    Cara membuat:

    1. Iris-iris singkong tipis mellingkar, kalau perlu gunakan parutan khusus. Goreng dengan minyak panas sampai matang, kering, dan kecokelatan. Angkat, tiriskan.
    2. Haluskan cabai dan garam, tumis dengan minyak sampai matang. Masukkan gula dan air asam, aduk sampai gula larut. Masukkan keripik singkong, aduk sampai seluruhnya tertutup cabai. Angkat dan simpan dalam wadah kedap udara.

    SPICY CASSAVA BITS

    Makes approximately 1000 gr

    Ingredients:

    • 1 kg clean cassava, peeled
    • 1000 cc oil for frying

    For the chilli sauce:

    • 10 red chillies
    • 1 tsb salt
    • 2 tbs granulated sugar
    • 1 tbs tamarind water
    • 5 tbs oil for stir-frying

    Method:

    1. Slice the cassava into thin circles, using a special grater if necessary. Fry in hot oil until crisp and golden. Remove and drain.
    2. Grind the chillies and salt, then stir-fry oin oil until well-done.Pour in the sugar and tamarind water and stir until the sugar dissolves. Add cassava bits and stir until fully covered with chilli mixture. Remove and store in an air tight container.
